On March 20, our lab member Astrid Cantamessa participated in an outreach competition aiming to describe a thesis in 3 minutes. Congratulations on her performance!
On Novemeber 16th and 17th, Astrid presented her work during the Annual Meeting of IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society & the 21st National Day of Biomedical Engineering in Bruxelles, Belgium. She was granted the best poster award by the National Committee of Biomedical Engineering. Congratulation to her!
Astrid presented a poster of her work druing the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research and the pre-meeting symposium "Osteocytes in Bone Health and Disease and as Therapeutic Target Cells" in Vancouver, Canada.
Development of a new computational strategy informed by experimental approaches at multiple length scales, to investigate crack propagation in trabecular bone.
