Edoardo Pedrinazzi

BIOGRAPHY:

Edoardo is a Phd Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Liège, he started his PhD course in November 2023 after graduating the same year from his master degree in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Where he specialized in Biomechanics and Biomaterials, with a master thesis focused on the mechanics of the cardiovascular system and the main treatments for atherosclerosis.

His Phd project is focused on the mechanics of the trabecular bone, and it aims to develop an innovative computational approach that is able to take into account the high structural complexity and heterogeneity that characterizes this tissue. This new numerical strategy will be informed by state of the art experimental approaches to simulate damage propagation on human trabecular bone microstructures from clinically relevant locations.
